Cape Cod - Cake
I stumbled onto this cake by The Casual Gourmet completely by accident and even though I'm not a white cake kind of bride, I'm in love with this cake. I love how there is just a little 'sand', and the gate just really says Cape Cod to me. I definitely like the idea of having the adirondack chairs instead of traditional cake toppers.

Cape Cod - Bridal Bling
from Esty Seller: BeachGlassMemories I like this necklace made of sea glass because it's different and can be the something blue that I wear.
from Esty Seller: IrisJewelryDesign I thought these would be great gifts for my bridesmaids because they're cute enough to wear after the wedding.
Here are some cute sandals I found on JCPenney by Mixit for 14.99 (originally 22.00)

Cape Cod - Bridal
This dress from The Dessy Group Destination Bridal Style 1021 would require some serious bootcamp training but I really like it. From far away the lace almost looks like sequence. I wanted to find something simple but not plain. No one wants to look boring at their wedding!

Cape Cod - Reception
Ok so I admit that this is A LOT more traditional then I would normally choose but I figure if I'm making people go to the beach in July in dressy clothes, I can at least let them eat dinner in air conditioning. I also think that the color scheme will really complement the look of my wedding. Believe it or not I actually like the blue carpet. It took a while to get used to it, but it reminds me of the ocean in a good way.

Cape Cod - Flowers and Centerpieces
This is completely different then what I was originally thinking for my bouquet but it's perfect. Made from frangipani it's supposed to be very delicate and the flowers bruise easily.
I love hydrangeas so it only makes sense that my bridesmaids will carry them.
Centerpieces for the ceremony were tough because nothing I found looked quite right. I just wanted to keep things simple because the beach is a very laid back place and some fancy overdone centerpieces would feel out of place. I'm not sure if this is the kind of vase I would use but I love the color of the candle and the small about of sand and shells that were added.

Cape Cod - Cocktail Hour
So my idea for the cocktail hour is to go back to the Sea View and have my guests enjoy some cocktails and appetizers on their terrace overlooking conservation land.
If I didn't want to get married on the beach so badly, I'd definitely use this terrace for the ceremony!

Cape Cod - Ceremony
So I'd like to have my ceremony on the beach which apparently requires a town permit (small fee) but is only a short walk from the Sea View. The only host one wedding a day so I don't have to worry about timing but I do want my ceremony to be later in the afternoon so that it's not too hot for myself and my guests.

Must Play List -Kiss the Girl by Sebastian the Crab
One of my favorite movies growing up; I wanted to be Ariel. Who wouldn't want Prince Eric? He is cute but not very bright...
If I were singing this I'd probably sound a lot like Scuttle :)

Cape Cod - Groomsmen
$395.00 on sale for 199.99
This starfish boutonniere is from Etsy seller magartspartycrafts for 9.99 although I'd probably try to make my own so that it's personalized to my wedding.

Favorite Couples: Kendra and Hank Baskett
One of my favorite couples! I think they've become the new Samantha and Darrin Stevens for me. If you haven't watched their show Kendra on E! then you should. Out of all the reality tv shows out there, this is the one couple who seems genuine. You can easily see the love between Kendra and Hank hence they're one of my favorite couples and I never miss their show (which has only gotten better with the addition of little Hank.)
I couldn't find a good video of their wedding but here is the proposal:

Must Play List -Long Time Coming by Oliver James
You probably think I'm a huge dork for loving this movie but I do and this is a really great song that I'd love to play at my reception.
This is Oliver James (Ian) singing "Long Time Coming" in What a Girl Wants. It doesn't hurt that he's cute and this is probably Amanda Bynes finest acting performance.

Cape Cod -Invitations
Unfortunately it's a bit hard to see the invites on here but I like how the colors are muted; it just seems to add to the peaceful mood I'm looking for in this wedding.

Favorite Couples: Doug and Carrie Heffernan
I just saw this episode recently and I loved it! Doug and Carrie's vows are so sweet! (3 mins in but definitely worth it)

Cape Cod -Inspirations
The thing that really inspired me to have a wedding on the Cape in July is because growing up we would go to Martha's Vineyard every summer right around this time. When I think of the Cape, I think of the beach and so I wanted to have a beach ceremony and hopefully outdoor reception.
