Steampunk -Bouquet

On the Strawberries and Champagne Blog I found some good examples and also a brief how-to for making my own brooch bouquet. I think that I could DIY my own bouquet along with my bridesmaids. Etsy sellers have bunches of old brooches and earrings that would be prefect for this project. Of course I'd need to add some gears and keys to really tie it in with my steampunk theme.

Wild Side - Bridesmaids

Each of Amber’s five bridesmaids wore a tea-length dress made from chocolate-and-ivory paisley fabric, tied with a lemon-hued linen sash. Chocolate suede peep-toe wedges completed their look.

I love these dresses even though I have not idea where they came from. I would however pick a green sash instead of the yellow one.

I think the orange tulips look like little pumpkins!

Maine Coon - Bride

My Dress

I tried to find something that looked simple and flirty. This is a backyard wedding in someone else's backyard so it doesn't make since for me to wear a ball gown.

My Flowers

I love gerber daisies so I'm using them again, but this time I'll also mix in a few other flowers. This bouquet uses white flowers and roses both of which I'd swap out for peach peonies.
