I saw these apple cupcakes when I was killing some time in a Barnes and Noble. Check out "What's New Cupcake? Ingeniously Simple Designs for Everyday Living" by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson. Such a cute idea, but I'll have to leave the mass production of these to the professionals!

I think a family friendly and adult version of apple cider would be fun for cocktail hour.

I'm not a fan of candy apples because they've always hurt my teeth, but I don't want to deprive others of that fun!

The apple place cards is an idea that I have seen in a few spots and seems like a really good idea.

Apple Orchard - Bridesmaids

The idea for the wedding party has changed drastically since I started working on this month, and I'm very happy with the results! This red necklace was the first one I found that i actually liked. I want one that's long enough that the girls can wrap it around twice and still have length. The dress is simple and cute enough that you could accessorize anything with it an still look amazing!

I wanted something simple but elegant and I'm hoping to find a jacket/cover up like the one on this dress. Since the wedding will be at an apple orchard and I love Disney, I couldn't help wanting to find one with a collar that reminds me of the one worn by Snow White.

Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii

Seems expensive but I've never been to Hawaii and always wanted to go. The 'affordable' room are typical disney rooms but the area looks beautiful. They have numerous pools and beach locations. I think we'll be spending quite a bit of time exploring the beauty of Hawaii.

This cake was made by Dream Cakes in California for Girl vs Food. I love the idea of having a cake to cut into and cupcakes for the guests to eat. Not everyone like cake so if there are cupcakes I think it's easier for people to pass on the 'cake' or just have a bit and maybe eat more of the other yummy dessert options.


Cake Favors

I found these mini cakes on Adventures in Wedding Planning by MasterPiece Weddings, unfortunately it was part of a style board so I don't know who made them, but I like the idea of guests having their own mini cake to take home from the reception. I would like the flowers to look more like the ones on the wedding cake but I'd leave the green bow detail because it makes the cakes seem even more like a gift.

This is the absolutely perfect table style for my wedding, I found it here at Celebrations Party Rentals. The green table cloth is perfect for my informal backyard wedding and the orange napkins give just a punch of color. I have no idea what kind of flowers these are but I like them too!

Obviously you have to picture this table outside over a beautiful green lawn.

I found this location because their card was on a bulletin board with a picture (see below) of their lawn overlooking the water. I think that this is the perfect spot for an intimate outdoor wedding.

I tried to find something that looked simple and flirty. This is a backyard wedding in someone else's backyard so it doesn't make since for me to wear a ball gown.
